Anybody a fan? I know it's a longshot but his solo work is my favourite music ever.

Going to see him next week YAY!! I am determined to stay sober after only remembering half of the last gig. Although having to sit in a pub from 3pm to see the pre-core is not going to be conducive to soberness, strong willpower vibes required.

He is a genius,i love his solo work but have to say the "pixes" are one of my all time fav bands ever!!
Whare are you going to see him?

I like him too - being a long-term pixies fan, but have also seen him solo once and although most of his material is not as strong as pixies stuff, he's still well worth seeing.

I love the Pixies although they scared me a bit at the time, in fact oddly enough the docco Gouged was on tv today.

Thanks for your messages, I too love the PIXIES
but with only a few albums one can get bored. Frank Black isn't totally consistent but I love Teenager of the year and most of the Frank Black and The Catholics stuff. Shall report back, even though I've seen him a few times, hopefully he will be out of his loafers with no shoes phase

Well apparently his gig is just new stuff which is ok with me, who gives a fuck anyway a night out is a night out yay.
