I have just booked family tickets for this in February at the Albert Hall...am SO EXCITED!!!! Have spent a small fortune on the tickets in a mad moment.

I have been desperate to see the Cirque for years and ADORE circuses and physical theatre! Has anyone seen this show?

Great reviews in the Sundday papers - am tempted to book myself.

oh I so wanted to take the kids .. but it is so very expensive .. so very expensive indeed

DarthVader · 13/01/2008 16:58

The cost has always put me off before - this time I could resist it no longer!

I've been wanting to see this for ages too. How old are your Dcs? Mine are boys 4 & 6 and I'm not sure they could sit still for the whole show

Twiglett · 13/01/2008 17:22

I took DS to see the Chinese State Circus when he was 5 (and took a 6 year old with us too) .. and they were both entranced by it and barely made a sound through their open mouths

I don't think you need worry about them being too young

Have seen Cirque du soleil here in Ireland and was completely mesmerised and entranced through the whole show.

Amazing.

My dd is 8 - we go to the theatre often (albeit cheap local stuff!) - she will have no problems with the length of show...am probably getting my money's worth just from the anticipation alone! Tnog which show did you see in Ireland?

We saw 'Ka'.

Ds is 10 and sat very still for the duration of the show.

He know dreams of joining them and travelling the world.

Could be worse I suppose

Saw Varekai this week and it was amazing. I think this one is particularly good for kids as the costumes are very colourful and there are three cute Chinese boys. This is my fourth Cirque show and although I agree, tickets are very expensive, it's worth it.

Enjoy!

Just booked to see this on Valentines day - Can't wait!!
There are some clips of the show on youtube.

DarthVader · 01/02/2008 13:42

So glad to hear that you enjoyed it Brazilianmum - I have just had the bill and am TOTALLY BROKE now for this month, hopefully I won't regret it as it's way more than I would normally think of spending!
