It was La Traviata today. Marvellous.

Courtesy of Sky Arts.

Just what the doctor ordered after a long week of lockdown cooking and cleaning.

Was that the one performed on the rooftop? If so I've seen it already. But on the whole I've missed about 99.99% of the live streamed/videoed theatre opera available this year - just can't get into it on a small screen.

Glad you enjoyed it though!

Not sure about roof-top; I joined it half way through act one.

But the dancers, musicians and guests arrived by boat for the party scene which was pretty spectacular.

And yes there seems to be an absence of ballet/opera/theatre on the TV ATM just when we need it.

Have you seen the daily free stream from the Met in NY?
