I took DD aged 8 to Edinburgh.

We saw Does a Monster Live Next Door?
Aesop's Fables
Professor Bumm's Story Machine
The African Children's Choir
Silly Billy Bum Breath
Potted Potter
Comedy Club for Kids

We loved all of the shows and had a fantastic time watching the street entertainers over the 4 days we were there.

Saw potted potter and all 4 of us laughed from begining to end, it was excellent. Also agree with just watching the street performers, they were excellent, and the kids had a blast

If you are without kids go to see Mervyn Stutters pick of the fringe, sounds crap, but you will see 6-7 acts showcasing, and you can 'try before you buy'

oh - we saw potted potter and prof bum - I htought they were both brilliant I thought the standard was so good this time.

potted potter should be touring - I hope they are there next year.

I am thinking of going to the Edinburgh Festival this year, is there any point as I will have 5 month old DD? Am I likely to be able to attend anything?

Am maybe thinking of going and getting a babysitter on the Sat night?
