I am not generally hog-whimpering wild unless they have elephants.

I find that when I think of what to watch documentaries rarely inspire me but if one comes on I enjoy them immensely- especially those low budget ones of obscure freeview channels with titles that seem deliberately designed to make them appear boring and inaccessible. Ones about thing i had no interest in- eg astronomy- seem to appeal as much if not more than ones in my field (eg Dh was recently mesmorised by a documentary about the partition in India- yet if i'd tried to tell him the tory he's have dismissed it as not his thing)

I get sucked in to a documentary quite easily. I think I'm like Peachy - I don't seek them out but if I start watching one then, no matter what the subject is, I find them interesting.

love a documentary,one reason I would be persuaded to have sky,if there was a documentary channel.

I am sure someone will tell me there is one now.

Am watching "Equator" as we speak.

Mainly because I am in love with Simon Reeve, the journo who presents.

But I am learning lots about Congo, Uganda, Gabon.

In particular, that a top-quality circumcisor can do 100 boys an hour.

Documentaries make me feel better about not concentrating at school.
