Figueres is a shortish train journey from barcelona, and his house is on the coast at Port Lligat near Cadaques - both well worth the trip

This reminds me of when I went to Cadaques in about 1977 and stood outside Dalis house on the courtyard where there were splashes of paint (he still lived there then obv)

i would recommend that you leave BCN as there are not direct trains from BCN to Figueres. I seem to remember that it took us nearly 3 hours driving.

Figueres is in Girona not Barcelona.

It's like saying that Canterbury is in London!
