Please help: closures and cutbacks at the William Morris museum

The William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow, London, is the only public museum in the world devoted to William Morris's life, work and influence. In January 2007 Waltham Forest Council proposed cutbacks to severely limit the opening hours of the William Morris Gallery and also of the local Vestry House Museum & Archives and to terminate staff contracts as part of a drastic restructuring.

Please sign the online petition here to protest about the treatment of such a valuable resource.

I tried to sign it but it reckons I haven't filled in all of the required fields ... and I have! I've missed out the optional ones but completed the rest.
