Irish Dancing

Hi,

My girls (11 & 14) are both at intermediate level in Irish dance. They've been here for quite a while now and although they know they must practice to get to open level, I'm finding it soooooo hard to get them to do it! They both competed this weekend and out of 3 dances each, only my younger girl placed and that was just in one dance. Have to say that neither of them was particularly disappointed as their expectations weren't too high I suppose!
Anyway, any tips or strategies that anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I think they are at that age where it really is down to them loving it and wanting to put in the practice, other than lots of encourgemnet its down to them.
