Anyone see Wicked?

Got chance of 4 complimentary tickets and wondered if it's worth hauling my bum to London for? The boys are 6 and almost 9 and apparently they'll enjoy it?

Not seen it, but got really bad review in Sunday Times a couple of weeks ago. That doesn't necessarily mean anything of course. Going on review, not sure if it's a boys thing either.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE to see Wicked. The music is fab, everyone I know is raving over it.

I just can't afford the time/money to go to London at the moment.

A 6 year old may be a bit young for it to be honest. I have had 9 year olds learning an song and dance routine from it.

Lucky lucky you if you get to see it.

UlySCREAMS... if you don't go then let me have the tickets. Apparently it had bad reviews in the States as well and yet got standing ovations every single night. Doing the same here.

So........ should you decide you don't want to go.... remember me! I have an exam you know!

Flamebat · 10/10/2006 00:36

I'll relieve you of em if ya want . Read the book, would love to see it

mamamaaargh · 10/10/2006 00:46

I saw it in Chicago and loved it. Would definitely recommend the production we saw. Not convinced it is suitable for such young boys though - although it is related to the Wizard of Oz it is an adult story with adult humour. (Have you read the book?)

Flamebat · 10/10/2006 00:49

Agree about the boys - if its at all like the book it doesn't seem suitable.

Marsy can have 3 tickets, I only need one

UlySCREAMS · 10/10/2006 13:12

Thanks guys. The guy giving us the tickets is in charge of running it and said it'd be ok for my boys? I fancied Spamalot for them too.

Think I'll take them as ds2 is mad about the wizard of oz so may get something out of it?
