Hi Mums,

Just to let you know about the Parents & Babies Club at the Rio Cinema in Dalston E8.

It's a special film screening (usually twice a week on Tues and Thurs) for parents with babies under one year old, so that they don't have to worry about finding a babysitter or disturbing other visitors. There is a secure space for pushchairs and it's a great way to meet other parents. Tickets are £5.50 / £4.50 concessions. To see what's on visit www.riocinema.org.uk.

Our films coming up are:

Tues 3 Oct 12.30pm THE PASSENGER (12A)
Thur 5 Oct 12.30pm CHILDREN OF MEN (15)
Tue 10 Oct 1.00 BROTHERS OF THE HEAD (18)

Gemma, I'm one of no doubt many MNers who think what you and some of the other cinemas offering matinees for carers and babies are doing is fab, but normally on here you really do need to contact MNHQ before advertising and pay them a small fee.

Good luck with the club - wish there had been something like this around when mine were tiny
