Debate/Argument going on here that risks waking sleeping baby. Can anyone help? Who is the old man on the cover of The Cure's Staring At The Sea? HELP!!!!

Sad case DH says its...... Elvis Costellos dad. Hes not guessing, he has a Cure interview in which they named this guy as Elvis Costellos dad.

I think perhaps Robert Smith was having a little jape. If that's Elvis Costello's dad than I am...err...Elvis Costello?

He was a singer with the Joe Loss Orchestra and had a hit record in the 60s himself. I don't think he'd be looking quite that old and knackered by 1984

ffs, these chaps (dh and friend) think they are experts on anything to do with music and football. Why they aren't premiership/band managers I don't know. Probably because they still think they will make it as premiership footballers/famous rockstars.
