Anyone seen this; is it suitable for a 7 year old of a nervous disposition? He was upset by a the wicked step mother in Cinderella a couple of years ago so don't want a repeat of that.

I have not seen it but it has it's dark/sad moments I think. My friend took her DC and they're about 6 or 7 and they adored it. It;s meant to be utterly magical.....but the experience your son had a couple of years ago won't be the same today....5 is very different to 7.

I saw it as a grown up a couple of years ago and thought it was absolutely magical. It's very surreal - no storyline just lots of moments which are sort of connected - and so no baddies to be scared of but I don't know if the fact that it doesn't make sense as such might be distressing to some children... The kids I saw in the audience seemed to be quite enchanted by it!
