Avoiding booking fee manchester palace.

Hello, hoping that I might be able to avoid the rip off that is the booking fee.

Does anyone know if I can buy the tickets at the door by any chance?

I don't mind a card fee but it's about £8 in fees!!

Do you live in Manchester? The palace has a box office that's open during the day, surely they can't charge fees in person?
