Just booked tickets for West End revival of Miss Saigon! Very excited. Does anyone know if it's been fully cast yet?

Have you seen Miss Saigon before?

Livnatmum · 08/09/2013 22:53

Will be watching this with interest! My DS has just (yesterday) finished a run of a student edition of this - I saw it 3 times, never been so proud!! We wil definitely be seeing it in the West End!

EthelredOnAGoodDay · 08/09/2013 22:58

Yes, I saw it on tour in Manchester probably about 10 years ago. We had crap seats in the gods last time, so looking forward to actually seeing it!

How long will it run for?

Not going to the West end until next year and would love to see this.

I saw it in London when I was 16 (long time ago)

pigsinmud · 12/05/2014 19:31

I saw it years and years ago when I was 17. I loved it. Dh saw it (I didn't know him then) and he hated it! I'd love to see it again.

brokenshoes · 21/05/2014 22:21

I've got tickets for the end of the month too! Cannot wait - been reading articles today and eagerly awaiting the press reviews.

It was the first West End show I ever saw, way back in 1990! Saw Miss Saigon several times during it's run and then again when it toured.

Now I'm a mum, I'm sure it'll be even more poignant

EthelredOnAGoodDay · 02/06/2014 16:27

What did you think brokenshoes? Did you love it? I think I'm starting to border on mild obsession with it!

I loved it, enjoyed so much more than the tour production. It was fantastic.

saw Miss Saigon last week and i LOVED LOVED LOVED it!! im desperate to see it again

Ive been obsessed with the soundtrack for the last few months as i love the songs so so much so i was worried that i had built it up too much in my head.

But i was not in the least disappointed. I love the cast (and got some autographs hanging around the stage door post show like a geek)

The opening Dreamland scene, This is the Hour scene with Thuy and Kim, and the fall of Saigon flashback scene were my favourites

Ethelred, what were your favourite bits?

mypetdragon · 18/08/2014 08:51

Sorry to barge in on your chat but I have 2 tickets for Miss Saigon for this friday 22nd August, dress circle E25 and E26. Paid full price of £135 for the two. Anyone interested enough to make me an offer? Just been dumped by my BF whose favourite musical it is, and I can't bear to go by myself.

JazzAnnNonMouse · 09/09/2014 17:45

Saw it about a month ago - I loved it!!

butmumineedit · 11/09/2014 21:26

Just seen this today and thought it was superb, just really brilliant, loved the helicopter sceneGrin

storynanny2 · 04/10/2014 00:41

Just listened to the 25th anniversary concert on radio 2 and it all came flooding back to me. Saw it in 1990 and 2004, just booked to go again in December. Very powerful music. I love it as much as les Mis
