Have been trying to get tickets (for me and dd) but availability seems very limited according to website. Any suggestions please ?

can you not just turn up?

Website says to prebook although limited tickets may be released at 10am for timed slots. Trouble is, that could be late evening if at all!

We finally prebooked for 9 January - the earliest we could get. Grrr.

Are they still releasing tickets then ? I could only find late at night weekday slots.

We booked last weekend for midday on the 9th, and there were tickets then. I def. wouldn't just show up and hope.

Just managed to get tickets for Friday 4th. There were also some showing for Sunday 6th so worth checking back occasionally.

We have been and it is well worth it. You can just turn up if you are a V&A member. And if you go more than once a year it pays for itself.

Definitely worth it . Took us over 1 1/2 hours to view and was very busy but dd thrilled to see Dorothy's ruby slippers!

Dd (9) and I really want to go tomorrow. We've been unable to book tickets (had some ill health, so too risky to book far in advance and then they all sold out). We can't there for 10 a.m. when spare tickets go on sale, as travelling in from outside London - probably more like 11. Is it worth us staking our all on being able to get tickets, or will I have a tearful child when we don't get in? She's the kind of kid you can take to this kind of thing and would really love to go (as she keeps telling me).

It was very busy. Keep trying online or call them to see if any last minute ones will come up.
