Starlight Express is it any good?

Hi saw on the news that Starlight Express is touring.
I remember it vaguely from the 1980s but don't know much about it other than the cast are on rollerskates and it is about trains?

Is it worth seeing or should I give it a miss?

It was good when I saw it aged 11 or so - that might not be much help!

I think it is a bit of an aquired taste if I'm honest.

I love it and have seen it 3 times (mega number for me).

The lyrics appeal to my sense of humour..........'Freight Is Great!'

Good job - terrible show. A few good tunes but not for me and the OH.

It's currently in my town and I'm tempted by it. Friend said this particular one wasn't so good though.
