Any London mums up for visits to galleries, exhibitions, plays etc?

Hi Mumsnetters,

I am a London mum of two bored to death with talk of playgroups, pottytraining and pediatricians! I would love to meet any mums interested in visiting art exhibits The new Degas and Toulouse Lautrec at the Tate) museums ( the British Museum) or the theatre.

I probably sound all pretentious and arty-farty, but I promise I am not. Just want to expand my horizons a little, and stop my brain turning to mush. Anyone want to join me, with or without the kids?

I would..without my nipper though! Took him to the Estorick the other day and it was a bloody nightmare.

Also fancy the Rousseau at Tate Modern and Samuel Palmer at the BM, if those catch your fancy!

Hi Aelita,

Thanks for replying. Was beginning to think I had scared off everybody or else offended them! Yes, I am quite keen on the Rousseau as well.

Anyone else?

Wish you'd posted earlier poppadum as I've only got 2 weeks left of mat leave. Just had a meet up at the Tate with a couple of June 05 mummies too you could have joined us. Good luck with sorting it - it's good for the brain.
