What do we think? I realise it hasn't opened yet but I would like to take DS1 to the theatre.

He is in reception.

Too scary?

hope so! We're taking the dc at Christmas and dc3 is still 4!

But she does love the movie- Danny Devito etc. We have it on a very old video, and it's a family favourite.

I hadn't heard of Matilda the musical; like you say Bloo, it's a favourite in our house too. The musical should be good, is it the RSC production?

Knowing whether shows are suitable for younger kids is a dilemma; I was thinking about taking the kids to the gala premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Wizard of Oz. I just hope my DS will be able sit through a whole show!

Written by Tim Minchin so not quite sure what to expect myself! Although it says family friendly I'm not sure if Tim can do straight & sensible!
