Wasn't sure if I should post this or not, but want some advice from people other than my therapist and close family/friends.

I was SA by an ex when I was 18/19 which I'd suppressed until the week I went into labour last year. Due to the flashbacks it triggered, I had to have an emergency c-section for my safety and baby's.

I am seeing a therapist and have been making a lot of progress.

The thing I am stuck on is whether or not I should report this to the police. I know ex's former friends dumped him after a potentual drunk SA incident the week after I started dating him, but I was drunk at the time so don't know the ins and outs. I know this would be evidence supporting my case, but I am scared in case reporting anything causes trauma to unfold for the woman affected.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!
