Hi everyone,

I'm currently facing a challenging situation at work and might need to consult an employment lawyer in Los Angeles. I'm looking for recommendations for someone who is experienced, especially in cases involving workplace discrimination and wrongful termination.

Has anyone had a positive experience with a lawyer in this area? What should I be looking for in terms of expertise and approach? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,
Sorry to hear you’re going through a tough time — workplace discrimination and wrongful termination are serious issues, and it’s good that you’re considering legal guidance early on.
When you're looking for an employment lawyer in Los Angeles, especially for discrimination or wrongful termination, it's important to find someone who focuses specifically on employment law, not just general practice. Look for attorneys who have experience handling claims under both California labor laws and federal protections — those areas can overlap but also differ in key ways.
It also helps to find a lawyer or firm that’s approachable and communicative. You’ll want someone who listens carefully, explains your options clearly, and isn’t afraid to push back when necessary. You can usually get a feel for this in an initial consultation, which many firms offer for free.
I’ve come across Employment Laws by Prestige Legal Solutions, which focuses on these exact kinds of cases in California. From what I’ve seen, they seem to have a solid handle on discrimination, retaliation, and termination claims — could be worth looking into.
Wishing you the best with your situation. You're not alone in this, and there are definitely resources out there that can help.
