My child has been acussed of hitting a cat by a family member that didn't see the cat get hit and just going of what they have been told from a neighbour that dosent know my child. They rang me to ask my child if he had kicked a cat and I told them my child hasn't been out and asked what day has this happned as we haven't even been home much the last week. The family member then tells me a couple days later it was my child a woman told her it was them and it was a stick they did it with. So I asked again what day it was and all I got back was why dose it matter what day it was. The story has changed 3 times in 2 days and we haven't been in much. my child is upset and has been crying because they said they haven't done it and I can't get a day of when it's happned so don't know if my child is lying or once again my child is just getting the blame and I don't know what to do.

I bet he hurt the cat, you're just in denial

Why resurrect a post from last year to say that?

My boyfriend was also accused by our neighbour of hitting her cat, what he actually did was kick a bucket of dirty water the cat was drinking out of in our yard and shouted at the cat to GET OUT OF IT( the cat got startled and yelped) and she heard it over the fence (she never saw anything). He was even reported to the RSPCA although they never did anything.
