Can I find out what happened at my house?

We live here 6 years and have been told from the neighbours the people who lived here before us were trouble and so much so that someone was high on drugs and stabbed someone on our drive way.
we’ve had the police here once for helping the neighbours who had a break in and we had cctv to help them and they said they came here a lot when the old tenants lived here: so I guess some of it may be true. Iv tried looking up news reports online but can’t find anyhing. Anyone know where I can find out?

Maybe try going to the local library and ask the information and reference desk for help searching the archives of local newspapers from those years. They are usually very keen to teach patrons how to use the resources available to locate the information they need. There should be public records where you can search. Good luck! I'd be curious, too, if it happened with my old neighbours.
