Wet n Wild Gold Coast

Just a thread to warn other parents to be vigilant with their children in pools and water parks. We were at Wet n Wild at the Gold Coast recently and there was a group of 6 men (in their 20’s I’d guess) acting super shady, standing by the edge watching and not swimming, then I noticed one sidle up to my 9 year old trying to grab a feel, I was in my partners arms at the time watching nearby, he threw me at her when we realised what was going on and got to her in time, literally covering her with my body while looking at the offender with a death stare while my husband got between them and us and grabbed to lifeguards attention (who nodded but did nothing). So be careful parents, and trust your instincts

I was at Whitewater World yesterday and some bulky meathead covered in face tatts stormed past me looking like he was in an absolute rage, started swearing and shouting, throwing punches at lifeguards, chucked their walk-in talkie in the wave pool and tipped over the thong display cases. Fucking idiot. I was worried about my son but he was none the wiser as he was distracted by the Disney song which was playing at the time!
