My Partner delivering parcel, one house stinks of cannabis and they have young kids

My partner is delivering parcels for his friends business he’s been working there a while but recently changed areas. There is a house who often order parcels he’s been there but usually they are not home, today they were home and he called me and said they had 2 little kids about 3 and 6 at a guess, and the house stunk badly of cannabis! I told him perhaps call the police? Would you call the police?

I'd report to nspcc or children's social services or perhaps fill in an online report form on the police website.

Call the non emergency number, the police can then decide what to do you could also report anonymously to the NSPCC who can chase up the report with other agency's if necessary.

You've then done as much as you can and won't be thinking about what you ought to have done. I work in a school and if something is niggling at me as not being right I report following our safeguarding procedure, if a child came in smelling of cannabis it is something I would flag up.

If he uses for his pleasure and for the sake of a high, then it's very bad and he has big problems. But as far as I know, there are a large number of companies that develop cannabis supplements that are needed specifically to improve health. I hope you grow your own weed at home rather than buy it from a dealer who will be involved in county lines dealing and the enslavement of trafficked men, women and children from countries like Albania and Vietnam in grow houses.

Mine is Cali, it comes from America to the dealer and then to me in Cali packs. There are no runners, it's all postal.

Garden, although at night I've smoked in my own bedroom before yeah. My mum did the same, now me and my little sister are adults we often share a joint with our mum. I'm trying to cut out smoking at the moment and have been experimenting with oils for edibles etc instead.

TBF if the whole house stinks of cannabis just from delivering a parcel, then they are likely just smoking constantly throughout the whole house, kitchen front room bathrooms etc. I wouldn't ring the police because morally I think cannabis should he legal, but as a PP said maybe childline or social services if you are concerned that they are smoking inside with the kids.
