Worried about DBS check

I may be offered a job soon, which will require the highest level of checks.

I am worried about what this will show, as I have been a victim of two incidents in the past - one wasn't progressed beyond being reported, and the other resulted in a caution to the person concerned.

I don't want a future employer to know about either of these incidents, as I may be judged by what happened. Do these checks show incidents where you are the victim?

Do I also have to declare any incidents involving the police to future employers?

It won't show if you were the victim and no allegations were made against you.

I wouldn't worry op, it will only show any convictions you've been arrested for and even then they aren't always disclosed a certain amount of years if they aren't serious crimes

is it DV level clearance? does DBS even have different levels? they are mainly checking to see if you are blackmailable if it is DV. And your potential employer will not have access to the details as the vetting team will not share it (we only get told if someone has passed or failed and are not given details of why they've failed)

I run enhanced DBS checks. Unless you have the conviction it will show absolutely nothing. Relax OP and good luck with the job.
