A stranger asked to take a photo of my child

Of course I said no. It made me feel uncomfortable.
He did it under the pretence "what a cute baby, what's your name" etc.
I can't get it out of my head.
He looked creepy. Middle Aged man. Tried to talk to my toddler in the queue in a corner shop, then after we left he left too and walked same direction as us, but I changed our direction.

yep that is creepy

Talking to your toddler wasn't unreasonable, as long as he was observing social distancing. Asking to take a photo crosses a boundary into creep behaviour.

I'd 101 this, with a good description of him.

This. It is really important that you do this. I doubt this is the only instance.

I've had a few instances of people wanting to take my child's photo..however he has light blonde hair abs blue eyes and is often japenese tourists!

@Mammyloveswine the man did have a foreign accent, but didn't look like a tourist, and he sort of was on his phone.

@bluebutterfly1 how did he react when you said no? Hope you're ok! Just re-read and that is a bit creepy! I'd probs say no too in your position!
