Awaiting decision to charge

In 2018 I was raped by a stranger. I didn't report what happened until May 2019. With little to no evidence the police were able to locate this man in December. He was questioned and everything he said matched to what I had told them. The only thing that doesn't match up, is he said he never touched me. Two days before Xmas the police phoned to say the she had passed my case to the sergent to review. I'm driving myself nuts as I havent a clue about the ins and outs of these things. I'd never even stepped foot in a police station until this. Anyone any advice, experience? Or forums you can point me to? Thank you x

No advice or experience for you but you could try and post this in legal too, lots of solicitors hangout on the board their and may be able to help. Sorry for what you went through.

I really feel your pain. The wait for decision to charge is long. This is a website I and 4 other survivors set up after we had been through the CJS.
