I have a grandson age 12. Caribbean. He has social emotional behaviour and Depression. Every one seems to have issues with his behaviour but he is a angel for me. He goes to a special school for SEN children. Every since he has been at the school he has had a lot of problems with Interacting with other children. He has be bullied and the teachers seem not to be able to handle his behaviour. According to the school he is aggressive. The school constantly seem to have issues with my grandson false stop. And my grandson refuses to go to the school as he claims he is bullied which the school do nothing about. A few weeks ago my grandson was at school dinner. And a boy told him to go and kill him self. Yes my grandson reacted. According to the school he had a knife and held it to the boys throat. The boy was Traumatised and rightly parents wanted to press charges. Police from gun and knife crime were called. Since then the school have changed the story so many times. One minute it is a plastic knife next it is a butter knife. Police spoke to my grandson and saw cctv and are not taking it any further. The school put the two boys involved in a room together and the boy claims he was not threatened with a knife and was not scared. I addressed this with the school as there is a contradiction as we were told by them the boy was Traumatised . The school claim the boy has Autism and he will change his story due to his learning Difficulties. I started to question the school who claim my daughter who also has learning difficulties had seen the cctv on talking to my daughter she said she was not allowed to see the cctv. I told her to call the school as she has a right to see it. On the morning of viewing the cctv she took her sister who was refused to view the cctv due to child protection of other children which we excepted. My daughter saw the cctv and there was no knife in my grandsons hands. The school claim he through it. But before they said he held it to the boys throat. My daughter clearly got upset and made. It know to the school. When she asked one of the teachers can you see a knife the teacher refused to answer. I did call the police again. But they were very unhelpful and we don't know who the police were that vied the cctv. If my grandson did have a knife we except he is in the wrong. But what if he didn't ? Don't know what to do any advise would be appreciated.
