Paying a fine

So I'm paying a court fine of £105 I'm paying £5 a week and I agreed to the judge I would pay £5 every Thursday. I have an all paycard to pay with.
I got a letter today saying 'Further Steps Notice' I haven't kept up with my payments but I have. I the receipts to prove it.
I spoke to a lady on the phone and she said there is £10 I haven't paid and I should be paying it every Monday not Thursday.
Any after speaking to her I paid the £10 online instead of using the card because I've just got in from work and I'm to tired to go back out. I got the email receipt to say I've paid the ten pound. I then rang up and fortunately spoke to the same women and she said because I've paid the ten pound no further action will be made. Is she right?

Why don’t you just pay the whole thing? Seems pointless dragging it out.

Can't afford it at the moment. I'm 21 and not on a very good pay with work. It's easier for me to pay weekly
