Yesterday I was out at 10am with my four year old when a random bloke began to follow me, He stank of booze, approached me from behind then started rubbing my arse and trying to get at my vag with his hands whilst stroking his cock and continuing to stroke me, I DID NOT WANT IT 😧 Police are involved and the incident is being taken very seriously - this morning I have an ID parade.
The bloke involved very stupidly told me his name after the attack which allowed police to arrest him within minutes of my call to them.

My issue is I am due back in work tomo; and I really cannot face it, I was off last week too as both DS and I had/have chicken pox. Do I phone my manager and tell her the truth or say we still have chicken pox (which is true!) and get a paper for that?

Before I get bashed for going out with CP we had been housebound for over a week and were simply trying to get some fresh air and cure a bit of cabin fever!

I have not slept a wink all night, and have started to suffer with panic attacks - I'm so annoyed someone has done this to me Angry

Tell her the truth. Don't go to work.

Divaroses26 · 23/05/2017 08:32

What will a doctor put on a sick paper tho? Will my employer take it seriously? After all it's not an illness is it?

A doctor would be able to write something. You've been through trauma. Look after yourself x

Divaroses26 · 23/05/2017 08:39

Thank you x

I'm so sorry you've been through this. Tell her the truth, there is no shame in being a victim.

Try to treat yourself kindly today

BastardGoDarkly · 23/05/2017 08:44

Oh fuck Diva I'm so sorry Flowers

I'd tell your boss the truth, go to the doctor too, they may have some help/advice for work, and also your panic attacks.

It wasn't your fault Flowers

Divaroses26 · 23/05/2017 08:45

Thank you so much. I'm just worried they'll (employers!) huff and puff about me being off as like I said I suppose it's not an illness. Perhaps I should just suck it up and go back to work 🙈😳

It's like hell on earth waiting for police updates, knowing there's potential for him to be back on the streets by now.

No love, don't go back to work if you can't face it. Go to your GP, have you rang them? Please do, then email work and briefly explain, saying that if they need proof you can provide it, but that you need some time off .

Have you got some support today? Dh? Mum?

Divaroses26 · 23/05/2017 09:53

Yes, both DP & DParents have been fantastic. DP has taken the day off work to be with me and DMum stayed with me all day yesterday until DP reached home from work (took quite some time as he works away!)

No haven't rang Docs yet, they are a nightmare to even get to passed the receptionist and speak to a doc!

Perhaps I'll phone my LM now and tell her what happened. I'm finding it really difficult to get my words out without crying over it. What a tit!

Flowers

PM me if you need to chat.

elevenclips · 23/05/2017 10:30

You've been assaulted.
Could you get your dp to phone LM instead

BastardGoDarkly · 23/05/2017 11:27

Yes, get do to do it, to say the police are involved, and you're understandably too upset to come to work.

He could also phone docs and deal with receptionist?

Divaroses26 · 23/05/2017 15:56

I've just come home from the police station after successfully identifying the suspect.

Spoke to LM earlier who was lovely about the situ but understandably very shocked, don't think she expected me to tell her what I did - I think she thought I was gonna say I was still spotty with Pox!

She didn't even ask if I would be in work, she just said when she would need a sick paper etc, that helped a lot!
