Will be brief, daughter due to be sent down. Any one have a clue what to pack? Do we pack a bag? I've looked on line and it's a bit vague . Any help greatly appreciated.

Oh drinks :(

Hope her solicitor does really drive it home about the impact on her health. As you say it's unlikely she'll be granted bail but it'll be good for her to see you there tomorrow.
Not much words of comfort I'm afraid...just that you're amazing. And she's bloody lucky to have you!

As for the fuckwit turning up - I'd hope she has the sense not to. And if she does that the solicitor can raise that with the court (given she's the reason DD is in lockup!) and if all else fails I hear Styal have lovely sofas ;)

DearMrDilkington · 25/01/2017 21:38

Best of luck for tomorrow drinks. You sound like a wonderful mother and your being a brilliant support for your daughter.

Looks after yourself.Flowers

Sorry OP Flowers I hope you can get some rest.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 26/01/2017 01:18

Someday this will all be behind you and your DD. Far, far behind like a speck on the horizon. May this be the lowest of the low for her and mark a real turning point.

Rubyslippers7780 · 26/01/2017 01:37

Flowers Not sure what to say except repeat what Hearts says... one day this will be a distant memory. You are being so strong. Your daughter is very lucky to have you.

tralaaa · 26/01/2017 05:22

Stay strong I will be thing of you today x

Hidingtonothing · 26/01/2017 05:52

Have been reading from the start but had nothing useful to add, just wanted to let you know I'm thinking about you today and hoping for better times ahead for you and DD Flowers

catinbooots · 26/01/2017 08:02

Hi drinks

I hope you managed to get some sleep

I hope today goes ok.

I'm sorry your visit was so distressing.

Hopefully they will get her meds sorted asap.

FruitCider · 26/01/2017 08:08

Drinks I'm really sorry your daughter is not being detoxed adequately. When it comes to alcohol/diazepam detox, I tend to give Chlordiazepoxide regularly as a preventative measure until my patients have seen a doctor and have a regular prescription. Sadly many times I have come in to work in the morning to find addicts have been locked in a cell all night, without any medication at all, not even an anti sickness tablet or painkillers. It makes me really angry!!!!! Prison IS the punishment, we do not need to punish people further by denying them medical treatment on top. I would suggest to your daughter that she puts in a strongly worded complaint letter. You are also able to write to the governor yourself - they would be very interested in hearing about your daughter not being medicated I am certain.

Wishing you and your daughter well for today x

It was her anti convulsants they didn't give her @ fruitcider for 2 days. I will be bringing it up with her solicitor today. If he's arsed .

OP posts:
FruitCider · 26/01/2017 09:17

That's so stupid! Is it a delay in prescribing or delay in medication from pharmacy? We have an emergency drugs cupboard for occasions like this. What is she on detox wing for? X

FruitCider · 26/01/2017 09:31

And even then they could have given her PGD diazepam 10mg as an interim measure to increase seizure threshold. This is making me really angry thinking about it.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 26/01/2017 09:37

Definitely make sure the solicitor brings up that she wasn't given her medication. That's terrible... thinking of you today.

drinkswineoutofamug · 26/01/2017 09:46

There's been a fuck up. Prison thought she was video link. G4 turned up to bring her here. So sat waiting to find out what happens. I've told her solicitor about meds etc.
