How did you know your agent was the right fit

I’ve received an offer to represent through and I’m so excited. The video call went well and she is my dream agent (I’ve been following her for a while and she was who I was most excited but nervous to send my manuscript too) but I’m worried that I’m rushing in and she’s the only offer I’ve had too. Do I just go with my heart and sign? Why am I now overthinking this?

Have you agreed a wait period so you can go out to the other agents with your MS and ask them for a final decision?

If you get no other offers then the decision is clear - no red flags from this agent so go ahead.

If you get other offers then think carefully about which questions you ask to determine fit.
