Any ARC readers available for a cosy UK Chick Lit novel?

She took a sabbatical to follow her bookbinding dream. She didn't expect to end up fighting to save an entire village market!

The Side-Hustle Sabbatical is my debut novel, a warm, uplifting British women's fiction story about second chances, community spirit and standing up for what matters.

It will be published in November, but is ready for ARC readers right now!

I'm especially looking for readers who enjoy British settings and UK English. An honest, voluntary review during launch week would be wonderful, but there's absolutely no obligation.

Interested? Message me :)

Yes please! I too have written a chick lit but not brave enough to send it out, it is available on smashwords.

Thanks so much everyone! Still some copies available, so do message.

The second in the series will hopefully be out in December, so if you enjoy the first one I hope you'll consider reading the second! I have plans for a third as well, and I'm aiming for March to release that.

I’d be interested and happy to leave a review!

LucyLoweAuthor · 11/10/2026 10:09

Everyone who has replied here or messaged me should now have their link to download the book. Please let me know if that's not the case, and hope you enjoy!

There are still copies left, so unless I've posted here that they are all gone, please message if you'd like one :)

I’ve just messaged you but don’t use ARC (confess I don’t know what it is!) so not sure if I can still read it or is arc something I can download?
would love to read and review though, thank you!

LucyLoweAuthor · 11/10/2026 10:23

Sorry it was a bit unclear, ARC just means Advance Reader Copy. I'll send interested people a link to Bookfunnel which will take you through downloading the book to your device. So you don't have to download anything except the book, and you don't have to get anything new if you already read books digitally :)
