Question for people who have self published

Hi all, sorry, bit of a weird one… if you have self-published, and specifically sold on Amazon, do you know who has bought your book, or only the number of sales? I want to buy a book, but I don’t want the author to know I bought it, as that would show I’ve googled her which was nosy of me.
Thanks so much!

No you don’t know who has bought your book!

That’s weird! Just got a mate to buy it if you’re going to be weird about the purchase.

Thanks so much Countess!

Fair comment Arlanymor! Weird over-thinking is one of my… let’s just say quirks.

Thanks both, really appreciate the responses Smile

No, you only know what type of book (eg Kindle/paperback/hardback) or number of pages read if on Kindle Unlimited, plus what country they're from.

So unless you'd be recognised with e.g. "UK paperback," then you're safe.
