Experiences of Faber short courses compared with City Lit alternatives?

Has anyone done short courses at Faber? Not the Novel Writing £4k jobby. Specifically I'm interested in 'The Art & Craft of Journalistic Storytelling: Writing for Newspapers, Magazines and Other Media' but it's £850!! I'm a writer but really want to level up my storytelling skills and this course looks like it goes beyond how to pitch, who to pitch etc to the actual nitty gritty of writing. I'm also looking at City Lit and City St George's who have a couple of courses at a quarter of the price, but they do not look so comprehensive.....TIA

I did the City St George's short course on novel writing. Every week we reviewed an extract from a novel and talked about what had worked etc. After a few weeks we also started reviewing other people's. Each week two people would share their work and then the next week we'd give them feedback. It was useful but a long way off going into the whole process of writing a novel and getting published.
