Entering Lucy Cavendish Novel Prize

Thinking of entering Lucy Cavendish this year, have never entered prizes before, but feel I have a piece near enough ready, and of their sort of style (literary fiction). Any advice, opinions, or tales are welcome !!

Yes I applied for this contest - did you apply in the end? I think it’s a good competition, I was longlisted last year. I’m applying with the same manuscript but updated and edited, hopefully better!

I did without about twenty minutes to spare. Not confident in my entry, but it was motivating to have a deadline and I'm glad I did it. Congrats on being longisted last year, such an achievement. What genre/style do you write in? Also, roughly what was the timeline of things last year, i.e when did you find out where you'd got to in the competition. ? xx
