I was just reading a woo thread and long for one of those long threads about a hidden room in the house or a haunted hotel get away where we all know its a creative writing exercise but enjoy participating in the thread (hasn't been one for a while but I do remember them)
Then I wondered if the creative writing crowd ever do challenges in here.
Write a short story on a subject etc. They used to be popular one some of the fanfic sites I used to hang around in.
