Querying times

Hi, can anyone who's been in the querying position offer advice?
I began querying agents for a novel tentatively in mid June then sent a dozen queries out when I figured I'd got the synopsis and tone of emails just right. I haven't had a single response, not even a rejection (not sure if this is good or bad news!) yet though, it's been almost ten weeks, do I worry or send out more queries yet?

Hi @localhere sadly, it's very common these days to hear nothing at all. All of the agencies you submitted to would have stated whether you can expect a response or not, although in my experience if they're interested, they usually come back requesting the full pretty quickly. I've had 3 full requests now and all came within a week of sending the sub.

As you're new to the process I'd recommend exploring this forum as there are lots of threads about waiting on agents, including a very long one that I devoured in its entirety when I first started. You'll find that most of the answers you have will have been covered here previously.

Good luck!
