I am so proud of myself tonight. I have actually gone and submitted to The Bridport Prize, an aim of mine for years. Has anyone else gone for it? So proud yo even have got this far. I will finish this novel!!

Well done! I entered cheshire prize, and I was geared up to enter bridport too, but I saw that one year they had had 11,000 entrants. I don't think I would stand a chance amongst that amount of entries. I hope you are successful!

Same! Entered last minute. Haven't written for years, but found a fairly decent yet incomplete short story on my lap top and finished it with an hour to spare. It's not a winner, but it felt great, so I appreciate where you are coming from @ElizabethBennetsBoots - all the best with your entry and get working on that novel in the meantime! 👏

I was shortlisted for the Bridport novel prize (is it the Peggy Chapman Andrew’s) aeons ago.
