Flash Fiction Competition

I entered a competition mentioned on here last year and forgot about it - but have been accepted. Never done one before and was wondering whether they are like those poems kids write in primary school where all the children are accepted and you end up buying the book anyway?

It depends which competition it was, was it the National Flash Fiction Day Anthology? If so, it is a good competition and only the best stories were selected

And also, if you have work published in a reputable anthology you should get a free contributors copy, if they are charging you to read your own work it's not right
