Really struggling for feedback on my MG book - does anyone know of any good ways of finding Beta readers? Have tried Facebook groups but no-one seems to click.

Or if anyone fancies trying their hand at the first couple of chapters of a MG fantasy, let me know Blush

You could try a writing course, like Gotham writers

@HelephantCats try your local library, or look for a workshop or critique group.

Thank you! I'm a little too broke for a proper course, but will see if there's any critique groups around here.

Scribophile is good for getting critical reviews. You can do chapter by chapter or Beta reads.

You do have to crit other works to earn 'points' to submit your work but I find that helpful in reading around my genre.

We've set up a MN group on there if you're interested.

If it's MG, you should really look at SCWBI. You'll find lots of writing groups there- probably some local, face-to-face ones as well as online.
