How do you go about getting something published ?

Do you send it off or do you have to find it yourself somehow ?

A relative (now deceased) wrote me the most beautiful book when I was little. It was based on their own life so a diary really
It’s so lovely and well written and so informative and all of my children have loved it and I would love to somehow do something with it but I don’t have a clue where to start does anyone know what do I need to do

I tried but I was a bit confused to be honest and wondered if anyone had actually done it themselves

Maybe move this to books or have a little look at the creative writing threads. There are a number of self publishers that post there as well as authors. Best of luck!

No offence take at all ! i had a look but I was just confused 🤣 it seems complicated. It’s one of those things you google and it doesn’t seem to have a straightforward answer !

You can self publish on Amazon, look for the KDP section. You can make it kindle or paperback. Or both!
