Juliet Mushens

I've been following literary agent Juliet Mushens for years on Twitter. She's my dream agent (as in if I was talented enough to ever get a deal way) but her Twitter account seems to have been deleted?

Does anyone know why and what's going on? Is she no longer an agent?

She is still on the Mushens Entertainment agency website, but showing as closed to submissions:

What made her appear to be your dream agent, OP?

I've always thought she looks like a good agent to have behind you - down to earth and go-getting. I submitted to her once (back when her agency was Caskie Mushens) but got a form rejection.

I noticed Sile Edwards from M.E. is one of the judges of the Avon-Mushens competition (for new BAME writers). I'm not BAME but if anyone reading this thread is, I think the closing date is 28 Feb and you don't need to have a completed novel to enter.

I attended one of her workshops (back in the Caskie and Mushens days) and found her very approachable and down to Earth. Her authors spoke extremely highly of her and I thought she was someone that you could be yourself with.

I ended up following her on Twitter and she was very engaging and open, so was surprised at the cancellation of her account. It seemed to be rather sudden.

She's still on Twitter as far as I can see.
