Linking A Website to Your Book

Any authors have a website? If you have a website, on what page in your book is it mentioned (About the Author Page?) I am hoping to start a low key business that in a way, is linked and wouldn't look out of place with a link on my website. But obviously, I want my website to gain exposure.

Any tips please?

I don't have a website but yes, you'd probably want to put it in your back-matter alongside your author notes / about the author.

It's also worth having a link in the front-matter, alongside the credits for editor / cover designer. That way, people who are browsing the look-inside will be able to see the link without purchasing the book, which might help entice them into a sale.

Thanks for those tips themental.

I decided I would like to create a website because I am not a prolific writer and would like to write some shorter pieces i.e. blogs to support the book I have already written. I'm also trying to start up a small on-line business and obviously this would provide another link to that (not wildly unrelated to writing), so appropriate I think.
