Hi All
Any experiences of Self Publishing, I'm thinking of going down this route?
Non fiction book in the health and well being sector but would love to hear some self publishing experiences?

Firstly, what is your goal?
Do you ultimately want to make money? Or just like the idea of having a book out there?
If you want to make money, you'll also need a website.

I am exploring this on behalf of somebody else and the first goal is to get this book out there for health benefit reasons. The topic is in the health and wellbeing industry for kids.
There is a website in action already and a business behind the book. We are just not sure how to go about publishing a book for the first time.
I have learnt today that Amazon can be good and you distribute through them (hope that is correct).
But any self publishing tips or more importantly what to avoid would be unbelievably helpful.
