I think this is the goal of an online course, no? To get feedback from others that helps you "see" the problems and strengths in your own work?

My novel is literary, but I like to read many genres. I would like to find someone who wants to exchange chapters each week so that we can trade feedback. Anyone interested?

Hi OP, I am a fairly amateur writer and have mostly been doing short stories, but I hope you can find someone! I understand your sentiment, as I belong to an email group which used to be very vibrant but is now largely inactive. You could also maybe try posting a few on here.

Hello. I’m not sure I’m quite at the same stage as you - I could only send you two or three (first draft but not too scrappy) chapters right now...but I’m replying as I smell an opportunity to progress and feel this could be another incentive to keep up momentum. Deadlines help enormously. Obviously the critique would be useful too!
