Online or In person course?

Just need some advise. I fancy doing a course in short story writing; I have whittled it down to 2 choices. One is an online go at your own pace course, the other is a "crash course" weekend course at City Lit. I cannot afford to do both at the moment.

I’d do the online one personally. Just more time to reflect and take things in. Do either have feedback? Feedback is difficult to come by and is an important part of the writing process.

Yes the online one has quite a bit of feedback; according to the course outline anyway.

Are you looking more for inspiration, or coaching? The in-person crash course will probably have really high energy levels and leave you feeling excited and buzzing with ideas. The online course is more likely to offer considered feedback and useful tools to try out.

Best of luck whatever you decide.

Thanks for your input, the online course has had a few good reviews on here so I will most probably go for that in the end.
