Has anyone got a link or tutorial or book that they rate at instilling the art of synopsis into the very shy modest and can't bear to think about - me. Would rather write books than do any kind of selling. Please help with any sources of information.

This book's pretty good. Nicola Morgan really knows her stuff. Nice and short too!

This is timely for me as well as currently battling with synopsis writing too. A writing tutor I had once said to make sure you start and finish with a vivid image to bring it to life which I think is good advice.

That book looks good, I might check it out! Thanks Aristotle!

Another recommendation for the Nicola Morgan - I found it super helpful. There's also a book called How to Write and Sell a Synopsis by Stella Whitelaw, long out of print, and it covers a lot more than synopsis-writing, but worth checking out. You might be able to get it via a public library.

Thanks. I will have a look at both

I was also about to recommend Nicola Morgan's book!
