Just to keep the wheels turning, write a new proverb (or two). Here's mine for today 'Every burden is a brick in your bridge to better days'

Nice idea but I'm not sure how a burden equates to a brick in a bridge to better days.

Is it so opaque?

Well I just feel that burdens could go either way...they could weigh you down or strengthen you. And a good proverb is usually a clear message.
