Does anyone use it? Is it worth (the small) monthly fee?

Thanks!

I use thegrinder.diabolicalplots.com/ as well as Duotrope. The Grinder is free and I seem to use it more than Duotrope - not sure why, perhaps it's because it was where I was first registered, perhaps because it has more of a SF/F slant than Duotrope (though lots of lit markets too) and that's primarily what I write.

I like the calendar feature of Duotrope so you can see what anthologies are coming up.

Both Duotrope and The Grinder are excellent for obsessing over where you are in the queue. The Grinder has an awesome graph feature so you can see at a glance if you are behind or in front of the latest wave of rejections sent out.

I registered as a self-employed writer with HMRC - prob a mistake, but largely because at the time I was doing some copy-writing too, so I will probably include Duotrope as a necessary expense.
